Writing musical theater with Bren Dubay presented a depth of collaboration I had not experienced before, nor have I experienced since. Her writing has a lovely visual quality and an emotional depth that is a real pleasure to connect with as a composer. Bren’s unfaltering belief in the value of theater and her relentless passion for creating have changed me as an artist and as a person. I am so grateful to have worked with her and to call her a friend.
